Water Repellent Dog Chore Coat

The shell is made from duck canvas with a water-repellent finish. Duck canvas is a tightly woven cotton fabric that is naturally more wind-resistant than standard woven cloth, and the applied finish causes water to bead and run off rather than soak through.

The quilted nylon lining adds a layer of trapped air insulation that noticeably increases warmth over an unlined canvas shell. It makes the coat practical for cool weather outings where a rain-only jacket would leave the dog cold.

Hook-and-loop tabs at the neck and chest allow you to tighten or loosen the fit without removing and reattaching buckles. This is particularly useful for dogs with deep chests or unusual proportions where a fixed-size coat would be either too loose at the neck or too tight at the girth.

The two pockets have rivet reinforcement at stress points, which prevents tearing where the pocket meets the coat body under load. They are sized for small accessories or treats — not large items.
